attempts by the federal government to call off the prolonged strike
action by the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU); he argues
that with the last attempt on Monday by President Goodluck Jonathan
himself almost crashing, there seems to be no end in sight for the four
months gridlock that has crippled activities in the nation's
